  All my JW friends dont like me.

  they keep pretending to be my friend, and then i get word that they actually hate me.

  they have even slandered and said i not worthy to talk to.

  then of course, there are the rumours... needless to say, i am pretty depressed..

  Are you having any problems with Spring flooding in your area?

  It is a horrible feeling, to be a caring human being and the people you consider to be your true friends, aren't. I received a letter from my exSIL this week. For the first time, she did not sign it "love". Does she realize how much that crushes me? I have known her since the 1950's.

  Come to think of it Vienna, everyone on this Board, could probably use a hug. So here is hugs to all, who have JW friends, who don't like them.

  i haven't got much of a story.

  i'm in my late teens, grew up in it, and got out of the society's regime by the skin of my teeth.

  nearly go baptized because i firmly did believe it was the "truth" but because of a gut feeling that held me back, that i almost ignored, i didn't sign my blood to big brother.

  There are really TWO Watchtower Societies

  with cedars release of leaked watchtower new light "adjusting" understanding of "who" the faithful and discreet slave is.....i am struck by something which similarly struck me back in 1967.in 1967 i had just been imprisoned.

  being a male jehovah's witness during the viet nam war meant certain "issues" arose affecting a decision to respond to the military draft.i have told the story before.

  but, i'd like go at it from another angle in view of the above mentioned new light about the fds fora different reason.it was first in 1967 i began to discover that there are two watchtower societies.let me explain why i say this and for what reasons.first of all, anybody standing in a kingdom hall or sitting in a seat at a vast international assembly saw people they would identify as all on the same page.

  Is it possible to make a Group Action Lawsuit against the WTS, in reference to the "secret" part of the conversation, of what you were to tell the Judge and what you were to conveniently, (for the Watch Tower) told, to leave out?

  gorby and his lovely wife and children went to the memorial last nigt.. some jw's were friendly and some were over-friendly and some said nothing... .

  4 funny moments:.

  - the elder who did the memorial speech, is a partaker, and had to chew the bread before continuing the speech... .

  My Wife's Father Passed Away

  well, the day finally arrived.

  everyone says we were expecting it...but, not really.

  my wife's dad passed away.. he suffered for many years and we were at odds about medications and intrusiveness, but he was just a man in great pain, desperate for relief.

  Actually had fun at the memorial!

  i bet that title raised some apostate eyebrows lol but let me explain.... first of all this is the first memorial where i didn't place an invitation!

  not a single one!

  it feels a little surreal but i actually can't remember the last time i went peddling some literature door to door.. anyway, i got to the memorial about 5 mins early, and sat at the back with the brother in charge of sound.
